During horseback riding we were supposed to keep an elephant sized space in front, but  my horse, Magnum always left enough room for an entire circus! Mark Croft, Assistant Counselor, 2B

Memories
As another chapter in our life ends,
and a new page begins,
we begin thinking of all that has happened...
the joy, pain, happiness, sorrow...
the friends we made,
and the times we had together.
How it seemed it would be like that forever,
but yet it is now over and done.
The life we once knew is gone
with nothing left but memories.
Memories of friends,
memories of the games,
memories of everything that has happened...
all of it able to be put together like a puzzle.
Every day something in your life is changed,
some things are so small you just don't notice.
Then the big ones come along
and it is like you never really expected.
It was like you believed life would be that way forever,
but since it isn't and won't be...
I pray no one and nothing will be forgotten.
The good times occurring again only in dreams.
Life goes by so quickly even the smallest of friends are missed.
Don't rush life,
for it is short enough already.
We will miss everyone we are so used to seeing everyday,
and the things we are used to doing,
but I hope and pray...
as time goes by...
all memories created are kept as new.
Alaina Sanders, 2G

"My best moment was when I busted a softball during the proficiency test!"
Steve Smith, 1B

"I really liked dunking the counselors during swimming."
Seth Sanders, 2B

Ropes
Grab one
Miss the rest.
Try your hardest
And do your best.
Cheer for one,
Cheer for all.
You can cry
And you can bawl.
Take one more step,
Then come on down,
Don't relax
'til you're on the ground.
Rebecca McNair, 3G

Chant from 3G:
I don't know but I've been told
I guess Camp Carter's really old.
We are here inside the Zone
I don't think that I'll go home.
