At the bottom of Glen Canyon Dam we had to wear hard hats to walk to the
rafts

Downriver we stopped for a short hike & swim in the 47o water--brrr!
Petragliphs (ancient Indian carvings) on the canyon wall [the dark coloring
is the result of bacteria reacting with the chemicals in the Navajo Sandstone
over time]

We made a quick stop at the rim for a group photo before heading for Silver
