Quebec Feast Site
Canceled for 2004
May 12, 2004
We regret to inform you that the Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, Feast site will be unavailable this year.
The Domaine Resort is undergoing extensive renovations following a fire in February. They did expect to reopen for us by the Feast, but the management was just
informed that a major electrical rewiring problem has been discovered that must be completed before renovations continue. This means that the management will be
unlikely to have access to their building before December/January.
As this was an on-site auditorium and accommodation complex, and no alternatives are available in the area, it is prudent we forgo Quebec as a Festival site this
year. We will reevaluate it again for 2005.
As this development only came to the management’s and our attention this week, and is something beyond our control, we apologize for this unexpected change to
many people’s plans.
Members in eastern Ontario planning on Mont-Sainte-Anne have the option of attending in Collingwood, Ontario; St. John’s, Newfoundland; or other sites. Those
assigned from the New England area have the option of Hagerstown, Maryland, or other sites.
For those members who registered for Mont-Sainte-Anne, it is unfortunately necessary to contact your Festival advisor and update your plans. All U.S. and
Canadian sites remain open for transfer except for Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Panama City Beach, Florida. Please contact your festival advisor by next
Sabbath, May 22, with your plans.
