From Mark Welch, pastor, Oklahoma City/Lawton/and Tulsa, OK:

Lee Freeman, age 89, died Wednesday evening, March 21, due to complications from his recent surgery after suffering a heart attack last week.  Mr. Freeman has been a wonderful example of love and devotion to his wife, Doris, for the past ten years as she has been suffering from advanced stages of Alzheimer's Disease.  Mr. Freeman had a very evident and fervent desire to please God and to be in His Kingdom.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Please pray that God will comfort and strengthen his family.

From Mark Welch, pastor, Oklahoma City/Lawton/and Tulsa, OK:

Lee Freeman recently suffered a heart attack and is currently in the hospital recovering from the insertion of four stents to increase blood flow.  He is expected to be in the hospital for at least another 3-4 days.  Mr. Freeman is in his 80’s and, along with his daughter, has been faithfully caring for his wife, Doris, who has been in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s Disease for the last 10 years.  Of course, his heart condition is placing more strain on the family’s ability to care for Mrs. Freeman in their home.  Thank you for remembering the Freeman family in your prayers.
