Recently the medical oncologist took a bone marrow biopsy and, together with the pathologist, found that I have leukemia, a type called hairy cell leukemia. This kind of leukemia is treatable and can go into remission. I ask for your prayers that God will grant me a complete recovery.

This morning we received some news about Jerold Aust that we wanted to pass along.

Recently, during a physical exam, Jerold’s doctor ran a blood test and discovered that his blood platelets and white blood cells were low.  His doctor sent him to a specialist (hematologist), who checked his blood under a microscope.  The specialist asked him to return in four weeks to see if his blood levels have improved.  He hasn’t been put on any medication, but has, of his own accord, changed his diet a great deal.  He would certainly appreciate our prayers.
