From Lyle Welty, pastor, Cincinnati North, OH:

My brother-in-law, Robert Borton, an elder in the Fort Wayne, Indiana, congregation, died Thursday morning, December 7th.  Our family appreciates the prayers, love and concern that have been shown since the time Bob was diagnosed with a fast growing brain tumor.  Bob will be greatly missed, and we look forward to seeing him again in the Kingdom.

Bob’s sons, Jeff and Joel, are members of the Ft. Wayne congregation.

From Darris McNeely, pastor, Indianapolis/Fort Wayne, IN:

Robert Borton, an elder in the Fort Wayne, Indiana, congregation, had an MRI this week which showed he has a fast growing tumor deep within his brain. This has been the cause of Bob's recent decline in speech pattern and memory. A neurosurgeon talked with him about his options. Today, November 17, Bob had a biopsy done on the tumor to confirm the initial diagnosis. After that he will have radiation and chemotherapy.

Bob understands the seriousness of the matter and is looking to God in faith for healing and His will to be done. Please pray along with his family for God's guidance through this trial.
