Greetings
Family,
My
wife is doing much better.
We
met with her hematologist Thursday and he reported to us that there are no
blood clots and her blood was fine. None of the specialists seem to
have any answers as to why she is having these strokes. All the Blood
Draws, MRIs, CAT scans, EEGs, Heart probes front and
back, Echocardiogram, Ultra Sounds, and Hospitalization for 4
days came back showing that she is fine. Each one of these test were
guaranteed to show proof that they would no doubt find the problem and correct
the cause.
My
Wife had all the symptoms for having a stroke and she has had 3 small
ones.
Schelleta and I are
encouraged by all this because we asked and you asked for Gods help. We
have done all that we can do physically, those things that God will not do
for us and then asked God to do what only he can do by our invitation for
his help and presence. Through this exercise of faith and having no
answers for the cause, now we understand I Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the
foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak
things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
When
my wife and I see the confused look on the faces of these doctors trying to
explain to us that the tests results are coming back fine and there is no cause
for this problem and telling us that she very clearly did suffer 3 small
strokes and can't say anything else except, let's put you on some blood
thinners, we know who is in charge.
Thank
you for your prayers and know that Schelleta and
I work together to be living examples that God is true at his word even
when he allows physical trials to come upon us for the purpose of producing
spiritual growth.
Thank
you once again.
Peter

Schelleta is home from
the hospital tonight. We returned this evening at 8:00 p.m. Her
hematologist confirmed this morning that she did suffer another small stroke
last Saturday.
She will be
seeing her neurologist, her hematologist and an occupational therapist next
week. The left side of her body is not as strong now as her right side
after this small stroke.
Other than
this, our spirits are high and Schelleta is
ready to get back to her children at school. They miss her and she miss them. I am trying to get her to take the
rest of the week off but she wants to stay busy and get back to her children at
school.
We thank you
again for your prayers, love and words of encouragement during her stay in the
hospital.
Schelleta is not out of
the woods by far because we do not know the cause for the strokes and they can
reoccur again without warning. Schelleta
wants to keep working and I support this but, I am concerned about her driving
to work everyday and lifting her children to render aid to them.
She is trying
to convince me that she's ok; I'm not buying this because I see her as she
does not see herself. Please keep her in your prayers, I love this lady
very much and I will continue to support her dreams and wishes.
I will keep
you updated as I have more information.
Thanks once
again for your love, support, prayers and words of encouragement.

Greetings
Family and Friends,
Saturday
afternoon during Sabbath services I had to rush my Wife Schelleta
to the Hospital because of potential stroke like symptoms. Her left
arm went numb after she had played the piano and she had a sharp pain
in the left side of her chest followed by a very bad headache. She
then became very dizzy when she would open her eyes to look around.
Thursday
evening she suffered a very bad headache starting on the left side of her
neck that went up the left side of her head to the center of her head.
The medicines were not working to rid her of this headache. She suffered
with this all day and up into the late evening.
A CAT scan was
performed on her head and a chest x-ray was
performed immediately after she arrived at the hospital. More
conclusive tests will be ran on her Sunday and Monday to see what changes have
been made since the last tests were performed 9 months ago.
The physicians
don't know if the blood clot that caused the mini strokes 9 months ago has been
dissolved or if it is just moving around. The blood thinners they want to
put her on will cause more harm than good. They have at least 7 side
affects that will harm other organs in her body and her muscles. This
medicine can also cause her to suffer mental depression. Schelleta and I have refused the medicines because of
the harmful side affects which were listed as the most common side affects to
occur.
Her
neurologist is looking up other medicines that can help that don't have as many
harmful side affects. We have requested the write ups on all
medicines prescribed so that we can review them and ask questions before Schelleta takes any of them.
This matter
becomes even more stressful because the neurologist that saw her yesterday and
the one that saw her today are working for the same medical group and they
both are in disagreement with each other as to what medicines she should take.
So, needless
to say, we don't have much confidence in this medical staff even though they
are supposed to be the top physicians in the mid west.
Friends and
Family, our faith is and always has been in God for healing and
deliverance. These test and trials come upon for reasons that only God
knows why.
Schelleta and I look to
God for the answers, the patience and the healing because this is where
our faith and trust resides.
I ask for your
continued prayers for my wife Schelleta that she
may be healed.
Thank you in
advance for your love, thoughtfulness and prayers.
I will keep
you posted.
