Cherine Berg of La Crescenta, California, requests your prayers as her legs are becoming slowly paralyzed.  She is suffering from a rare disorder, hereditary spastic paraplegia.  HSP causes the spinal cord to not function as it should, affecting the legs, causing them to slowly become paralyzed.  She can stand and walk only a very short time, and is now using an electric scooter.  She works full time, and has three very active boys, ages 14 and 9.  Cherine, her husband, Nate, and their boys attend the Los Angeles congregation.
