From Paul Suckling, pastor, Worcester, MA; Portsmouth, NH:

Dan Boulanger has had a remarkable recovery and healing from God.  After the trauma of his heart attack and pneumonia and everything else he was facing, God has answered prayers and Dan is now back at services. He has lost some weight, and also strength, but overall is doing very well.

He and the family extend thanks to all for the prayers, cards, and calls.

From Paul Suckling, pastor, Worcester, MA; Portsmouth, NH:

As of Friday, August 25, Dan Boulanger is doing much better.  They have removed all of his tubes (except the catheter) and he's off all the medications.  He's breathing on his own, with supplemental oxygen when needed.  He was wide awake in the morning and sitting in a chair! He looked great, too.  He tried to speak but was having difficulty with speech as the medications were still wearing off.

From Paul Suckling, pastor, Worcester, MA; Portsmouth, NH:

Continued prayers are requested for Dan Boulanger, member of the Portsmouth, NH, congregation. His heart and vitals are doing well since the heart attack; however, he has been diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).  This is following his getting pneumonia a few days ago. The family is seeing if they can move him to a more sophisticated hospital for better care. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns.

From Dan Dowd, pastor, Portsmouth, NH:

Your prayers are requested for Dan Boulanger, who had a massive heart attack on Monday evening, August 7.  It turns out that he had an almost completely blocked artery.  Doctors cleared the artery and put in a stint and a balloon pump to help the heart beat (and to keep it from stopping again).  The doctors are keeping him quite sedated because as he started to come out of the medication he began thrashing around and trying to take out the IV's.  As of Tuesday he was still on a ventilator under heavy medication battling congestive heart failure.  Because of the sedation the doctor's are unable to assess the complete extent of the damage.  Dan is slowly improving however, with his blood pressure coming up (toward the acceptable range) and he is voiding through a catheter, so it looks like his kidneys are working.  Please pray for Dan and his family, who are all at his side at this time.
