From Mark Welch, pastor, Tulsa/Oklahoma City/Lawton, OK:

Your prayers are requested for Earnest (correct spelling) and Margie Calhoun.  Earnest has been battling cancer for many months now and has experienced God’s intervention in several ways.  He has not had the type of sickness and pain generally associated with the many chemotherapy treatments he has received.  His energy level has been much better than expected.  But, he has been having a very big problem for weeks with a very bad rash on his chest and face.  His wife, Margie, also needs our prayers as she was recently admitted to the hospital with extremely high blood pressure.  She is home now and is some better, but her blood pressure is still dangerously high.  She has thyroid problems, and, undoubtedly, stress is contributing to her condition.  Your prayers for both Earnest and Margie would be greatly appreciated.

From Mark Welch, pastor, Tulsa/Oklahoma City/Lawton, OK:

Earnest Calhoun, age 62, was diagnosed with cancer last January.  Evidently the cancer began in his colon, but now it is also in his liver.  He recently returned to Oklahoma for the summer and began chemotherapy treatments this week.  He, his wife, Margie, and his family would greatly appreciate your prayers for God's intervention and healing.  Presently, he is feeling well and knows that he is in God's hands.
