From Ron Kelley, assistant pastor, Cambridge/Columbus, OH:
After
a long and courageous battle with esophageal and lung cancer, Bob Galbreath of the Cambridge, Ohio, congregation
died yesterday afternoon, April 26. He slipped into a coma during the
night and died shortly after noon. Randy Stiver
(pastor) and I were with him at the time of death. Bob’s desire was that
he would be a good example for others and he certainly accomplished that in the
last weeks of his life. He maintained his positive outlook and sense of
humor throughout his illness and constantly looked for God’s will to be done.
Thank
you for your prayers and concern for Bob. He was very much encouraged by
the loving support of so many brethren.

From Randy Stiver, pastor, Columbus/Cambridge, OH:
Bob Galbreath, a member of the Cambridge
congregation who is in his 70's, was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and
would very much appreciate your prayers. He has lost a great deal of
weight over the past several months and will now begin chemotherapy and
other cancer treatments. Bob is very upbeat and in good spirits to help
fight the disease, but very adamantly states his faith in God for His ultimate
healing. Thank you for remembering him in your prayers.
