From Steve Shafer, pastor, Flint/Saginaw, & Wolverine, MI:

Faith Dunham would like to thank you for the many cards she has received and for all the prayers you have offered up on her behalf.  She has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support.  Faith is feeling stronger and was able to make it to services last Sabbath.

From Steve Shafer, pastor, Flint/Saginaw, & Wolverine, MI:

We would like to request your prayers for Faith Dunham, a member of the Flint, Michigan, congregation who just turned 90.  She has a mass on one of her ovaries that could be cancerous.  It appears to be growing.  More tests will be needed to know for sure what her situation is.  At her age, a major operation to remove the mass is not a viable option.  Doctors have told her if it is left alone, it will probably grow and push to the place of least resistance.  It depends on where it goes as to what will happen next.  Faith is feeling very weak and is no longer able to attend services.  She is not yet experiencing any pain and she desires to leave matters in God's hand.
