Jim Blount’s lungs have cleared of inflammation and pneumonia.  The scar tissue remains but doesn’t seem to pose any serious problems.  Things have progressed so well that he is no longer on oxygen.  The heart received the most damage.  He is left with 40% function and some dead tissue.  Life is returning to normal, but at a slower pace.

Your cards and prayers were greatly appreciated and he thanks you for them all.

Prayer is requested for Jim Blount of the Ocala, FL congregation. Jim recently had a major heart attack with cardiac arrest for over three minutes. This, plus the preformed CPR and lung scarring from working in a phosphate plant years ago, have compounded to cause a serious breathing problem. He is currently having to use oxygen tanks for his problem with breathing and is easily tired out. Please pray for his complete healing of both the heart and lung problems.
