From Joe Horchak, pastor, Sacramento/Reno, CA:

So far, things haven't changed much regarding Nadine Cline.  Elmer, her husband, still cares for her daily when the Hospice nurses aren't there and is not able to make services yet due to her constant needs.  Some days that are a little better than others, which means she is a little coherent.  Elmer has to go in next week for a prostate biopsy so he will be out of commission for a few days.

Please keep both of them in your prayers.  They really appreciated all of the cards and letter they have received and read them daily for encouragement.

From Joe Horchak, pastor, Sacramento/Reno, CA:

Nadine Cline, of the Sacramento congregation, has been in bed at home for over 20 months now.  After a fall where she broke her hip two years ago, she had hip replacement surgery and a day or two after the surgery had a massive stroke.  She came home in February 2004 and has been diagnosed as terminal.  Her husband, Elmer, has faithfully been caring for her, as she needs 24-hour care.  Hospice comes in twice a week to bathe and tend to other physical needs.  In addition Nadine has sever diabetes, is on a feeding tube, tracheotomy tube and oxygen.    Please keep Nadine and Elmer in your prayers, asking for God's intervention, comfort and encouragement.
