From Steve Shafer, pastor, Flint/Saginaw/Wolverine, MI:
Tonna Bolinger of the Wolverine congregation just had a mammogram
to determine if she had any remnants of the tumor in her breast. Her
mammogram was clear and nothing showed up. So, it appears the tumor is
completely gone. Thank you all very much for your prayers on Tonna’s behalf.
She
is very relieved and very thankful for God’s intervention.

From Steve Shafer, pastor, Flint/Saginaw/Wolverine, MI:
Tonna Bolinger is feeling much
better. She began to soon after the
prayer request went out, and feels it is a direct result of all of your
prayers. They still don't know what
caused the reaction, but her blood test came back normal and didn't reveal any obvious
problems. She is still somewhat weak and
is sticking to a very restricted diet to give time for her pancreas to
heal. Please continue to pray for her
complete recovery.

From Steve Shafer, pastor, Flint/Saginaw/Wolverine, MI:
Prayers are requested for Tonna Bolinger. About a week ago she had a pancreatic attack
that was excruciatingly painful. She was
in the hospital for several days. She is now home and on a very bland diet as
they fear it could flare up again at any time.
She is still experiencing severe burning sensations in her stomach and
upper abdomen. She has to put an ice
pack on her stomach at night in order to try to sleep. Also, any activity quickly
causes her to feel exhausted. Doctors do
not know the cause, but they think it might be related to gall bladder surgery
she had last summer. They think a gall
stone may have gotten into her pancreas and caused some damage even though it
is not there at the present. They are
calling her condition "acute pancreatitus." It is a very serious situation that can, in
extreme cases, even result in death.
They are doing some blood tests to see if they can determine a cause. She is requesting our prayers for God to
intervene to give her relief and healing.
