Mike Ballo is much
improved. He hasn't had any more spasms
for several days and is deeply appreciative of all the many cards, the prayers,
and concern. It appears he is finally
returning to normal, following his hip-replacement surgery.

Mike Ballo, a
member from Colorado Springs,
underwent hip replacement surgery about six weeks ago and has experienced
severe difficulties since then. His hip
had deteriorated more than the average, even though the operation seemed to go
well. There have been periods with few
difficulties, but at present every few minutes Mike is experiencing severe
spasms in his hip area. The pain is
excruciating. He has also had trouble
with a large clot in the groin and is taking blood thinner both orally and
through stomach shots. Swelling has been
another problem. The doctor does not
seem to have much of a solution for the pain and spasms, other than medications
which don't seem to be helping that much.
Your prayers would be much appreciated.
