We wanted to let all the pastors know about the death of Janet Borton.

Janet Borton, wife of long time Fort Wayne elder Bob Borton, died early on the morning of November 28. She had two heart surgeries in recent months and died from complications arising after the second operation. Janet was a hard working faithful Christian who devoted her life to the local membership. She is also survived by her mother, Helen Welty, two sons, Jeff and Joel, a daughter-in-law Suzanne and one granddaughter, Sophia. The funeral will be Friday, December 3 in Fort Wayne. Janet Borton from the Fort Wayne congregation will be having heart surgery today, August 9. They will replace the aortic valve and repair the mitral valve. Janet’s husband, Bob, an elder, will be having surgery to remove a cancerous kidney as soon as Janet recovers from her operation. To say the least, it is a trying time for the Bortons. Your prayers of support are certainly appreciated.
