Doug Bosshart, a longtime elder in Oakland, has made excellent progress and he offers his appreciation in the following note:

"Thank all of you for answering the prayer request of May 21 on my behalf for God's healing and removal of the pain with the two operations for a twisted colon. God certainly has intervened and I am getting back to normal health. The many many cards of concern and encouragement were a surprise and a little emotional. It has increased my prayer and concern for those on the prayer lists to be more personal and fervent and respond as I can. Thank you again for sharing the Love of God's Spirit."

Your prayers are requested for Doug Bosshart, an elder in Oakland. Doug is currently in the hospital and had a second operation to correct a serious problem with a twisted colon. He has progressed somewhat, but is still suffering severe pain in his abdomen. Doug is very much relying on God's intervention for his full recovery.

He wishes also to thank everyone for their outpouring of encouragement during his sickness. It has meant a great deal to him.
