From Bill Bradford, pastor, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia:

The surgeon found a large hole between the upper chambers and a very large hole between the lower chambers of the heart.  He repaired both in addition to a defective valve.  He is progressing very well and Nathan's mother Carolyn is expected to take him home from hospital one week from the time of operation.  While his heart problem is resolved, he will continue his life with Downe's syndrome, in a family who thinks he is quite special.

From Bill Bradford, pastor, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia:

Since our last prayer request for Nathan, who is now six months old and was born with Downe's syndrome and holes in his heart, Nathan has not been able to have the heart surgery he needs because of bronchialitis condition.  He seems to be past this sufficiently for the doctors to proceed with the surgery.  It is scheduled for Wednesday morning, June 11.  We are asking for a successful surgery to repair the holes and that his health will improve after the surgery.  I will give an update when we have news of outcome of the surgery.  Carolyn Anderssen, Nathan's mother is a single parent with a two year old daughter.

From Bill Bradford, pastor, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia:

We are requesting prayers for a six week old baby boy, Nathan Anderssen, who was born with Down's syndrome and also has two holes in the upper chambers of his heart.  Carolyn Anderssen, Nathan's mother lives about a thousand miles north of Brisbane and is not able to attend a church service.  She will travel to Brisbane in two to three weeks for Nathan to have heart surgery so the holes can be repaired.  She is deeply appreciative of the support she has received from the church and it would mean so much to her to know that the church is praying for her baby son and herself during this trying time.
