From Dennis Luker, pastor, Seattle, WA:
Robert Ashland, elder in the Seattle area, and his wife, Betty, wish to thank all those
who have prayed for Bob's healing. Bob has a serious blood disease and earlier
this year, doctors did not give him much hope. But,
Bob and Betty believe that the prayers of God's people have made a difference. Bob was receiving a
blood transfusion every week, but now it is down to once every two weeks. Bob's
bone marrow is not producing blood cells in adequate quantity or quality. He
remains weak because of this and still needs the blood transfusions, but not as
often. So, thank you for your continuing prayers for Robert Ashland!

From Dennis Luker, pastor, Seattle, WA; Anchorage/Soldotna, AK:
Bob Ashland, long-time elder in the Seattle area, has taken a turn for the worst in his health. Bob
has a blood disease that seemed to be under control, but recently has worsened.
Bob's bone marrow has virtually stopped producing blood cells. It is blood
transfusions that are sustaining him at this time. His doctor has told him that
unless a miracle occurs, he has about a month to live.
Bob, and his wonderful wife, Betty, would
deeply appreciate your prayers for that miracle of healing, according to God's
Will. Bob is 75 years old and was ordained an elder in 1968, so he and Betty
have faithfully served God's people, as elder and wife, for over 35 years.
Thank you for your love and prayers!

Here is an encouraging update on Bob
Ashland, elder in the Seattle
area. Bob was released from the hospital today (Sunday) after nearly a week
battling a serious infection, high fever and very high blood pressure. He was
in critical condition when rushed to the hospital last Monday. Bob is home now
and doing much better. Bob and Betty send their love and gratitude for prayers
offered on Bob's behalf. God did hear and intervene. Thank you!

From Dennis Luker, pastor, Seattle, WA; Anchorage/Soldotna, AK:
Please pray for Bob Ashland, an elder in the
Seattle church area. Bob was rushed to the hospital this
morning (Feb.25) in critical condition. He has been struggling with a blood
disease which seemed to be under control. But, recently, Bob began to
experience headaches and dizziness. Betty, his wife, called this morning and
said he was rushed to the Swedish Hospital in Seattle. The doctors told Betty that Bob now has an
infection of the brain which is critical. Bob is in his early 70's and has been
a faithful elder for over 30 years. Please remember Bob and Betty in your
prayers. Thank you!
