On December 22, Jim Boyles underwent successful surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his tongue. Doctors are confident that all of the cancer was removed and only a very small portion of his tongue was affected. They expect Mr. Boyle will recover fully with no loss of functionality of his tongue. Both Mr. & Mrs. Boyle were very moved by and deeply appreciate the dozens of encouraging notes from members – and they especially want to thank you for your prayers on his behalf.

Prayers are requested for James Boyles, age 76, of the Wheeling, WV, congregation, who has learned that he has cancer on his tongue. Mr. Boyles is uncomfortable but is thankful that he still able to eat and to attend services regularly. He will be seeing a specialist on November 28, who will recommend a procedure. Please pray for him, along with his wife, Alta.
