From Bill Winner, pastor, Morgantown, WV; Marietta/Athens, OH:
Louis Bryant is requesting prayer for his wife, Annette, who is suffering from Endometriosis. They are both members of the Nashville congregation. They are a young couple who have been unable to have children due to her condition. Here is part of Louis' message concerning Annette: "She is scheduled to have a laparoscopy done on July 9th in Nashville. The doctor is going to attempt to remove some of the adhesions and repair any damage that he can in order to give Annette the best chance possible at getting pregnant. Some of the endometriosis has attached itself to a portion of her bowel. There is some concern by the doctor that he will not be able to do much with the adhesions through the laparoscope. He is planning to have a general surgeon on standby and if he feels that is necessary, they will do what they consider 'major surgery' on Annette. They may even have to do a bowel resection. If Annette just has the laparoscopy she will be in and out of the hospital in the same day. If she has the major surgery, she will have to stay in the hospital for several days. We will not know which course of action will be taken until the doctor has a look through the laparoscope on July 9th. We would like to request prayer that Annette will not have to go through the major surgery and that God will guide the hands and minds of the doctors involved."
