I am doing much better - doctors have not yet come up with a "back to work" timeframe, but hopefully, not too far distant.

This morning we were informed that John Bald, a longtime pastor who is currently serving the Corpus Christi and Harlington, Texas, congregations, had a heart attack last night. An emergency surgery was performed clearing two blockages, one with a stint and the other with angioplasty.

The doctor said there was another blockage, but it was not the one that caused the heart attack. He is planning to do another angioplasty in a couple of weeks to clear it, after giving Mr. Bald a little time to recover. From the latest report we've received, he is doing well considering what he has been through.

Please remember him and his wife, Nancy, in your prayers.
