Nathan Brecheem, of Living COG in Baton Rouge area, had surgery last week to remove a cholesteatoma (non-malignant growth) from his inner ear. It had destroyed his inner ear and caused a hole in the membrane covering his brain allowing spinal fluid to leak out. After surgery it is continuing to leak, unless it stops soon, he is facing more major surgery with uncertain outcome. He is resting a home with IV antibiotics and home health nurse daily.
