From Tony Wasilkoff, pastor, Toronto, Ontario:
Many thanks for the prayers for Alice Amyotte. She died last Sabbath morning, February 23, after a short stay in the hospital as a result of her long battle with cancer. She often commented that throughout her battle, she suffered little pain. She remained positive and concerned for others until the end. Her children as well as the Toronto brethren will greatly miss her.

From Tony Wasilkoff:
Mrs. Alice Amyotte wishes to sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, cards, and phone calls on her behalf. She just finished her second treatment of chemo (a total of six--three days at a time). She is not sick or in any pain but must cope with a very low immune system after every session. The tumors are drying up and she feels very good about that. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.

From Tony Wasilkoff:
Alice Amyotte, who attends the Toronto UCG congregation in Canada, has asked for the prayers of the brethren as she wages her battle with cancer. This is now the fourth time that Alice finds herself dealing with the disease. It started back in 1996 when she elected treatment by surgery and radiation. A different kind of cancer emerged in 1998 at which time Alice was treated with surgery and chemotherapy. In 2000, cancer emerged yet again. This time the treatment was chemo, but no surgery or radiation. Most recently skin cancer has appeared on her lower right leg.
Alice Amyotee is not in pain and does not feel sick from the latest round of chemo treatments. She is in good spirits. Yet she knows that the earnest prayers of the brethren will make all the difference for her.
