Since the last prayer request, 89-year-old Tom Batho has remained in a nursing home in Roswell, New Mexico. The following message was sent by Tom's wife, Ada, to update everyone on his condition.

Dear Friends,

We want to thank you for the cards and letters. The thoughts and prayers are always appreciated. Tom has been improving in every way except his weight (he is less than 98 lbs now). He just can't seem to gain, although he is eating much better and is sleeping more and better. He is not able to stand nor walk for he is weak. The bones rubbing against the skin causes bruises on the outside of his body. Nearly every day, he says something about the church and wants to attend. God is helping him each day and we thank Him for that. Thanks again for the prayers for they do help.
