1. Albertsons Shopping – Anyone who shops at Albertsons can obtain a Preferred Savings Card at the service desk. The card is free, offers special savings when shopping at Albertsons, and can be registered with Schoolpop so that when scanned when making purchases, a rebate is given to our group. The rebate does not accrue on liquor and a few other excluded items. Rebates are paid quarterly on each active shopper. If a shopper spends up to $200 in a month we receive 2%. If they purchase between $200 and $300 in a month we receive 3%. And if they purchase over $300 we receive 4%. Each shopper has complete control over where their rebate goes and can split it between up to 3 groups. They can also change at any time they wish.

2. Online Shopping – Anyone who registers with www.schoolpop.com can designate any group they wish for their rebate—including ours. If they begin online shopping at that Website, they can then go to any of the linked sites (currently over 250 companies) and purchases earn a rebate. The amount of rebate varies by the company as shown on the lists available on the Information Table.

3. Store & Catalog Shopping – These are “brick and mortar” stores (meaning a physical store where you go to purchase items) and mail order catalog stores. In order to get the rebate from these stores you must register the credit or debit card you plan to use in that store at the Schoolpop Website. Then when you use that card at the store the rebate accrues. There are only a few of those stores at this time and they are designated by an “S” on the same list as the online shopping locations. Those lists are on the Information Table.

4. Magazine Mall – This part of the program began this fall. If you subscribe to any of the participating magazines by purchasing them online from Schoolpop’s Website, 40% of the subscription price is rebated.

5. Schoolpop VISA Credit Card – This is the newest part of the program and has just become available. Supporters can apply for a VISA card with no annual fee. Once it is registered at the Schoolpop Website, 1% of every purchase is rebated. In addition, a $20 bonus is given the first time the card is used. It should also be noted that rebates can be “stacked”. That is, if you shop at Albertsons and use your Schoolpop VISA card both the 2-4% Albertsons rebate is given as well as the 1% credit card rebate. The same is true with online purchases.
